7 Days Vipassana Yoga in Rishikesh

Vipassana is a gentle-yet-thorough introspection technique of meditation. It is an observation-based, self-exploratory journey that focuses on deep interconnection between the mind and body, which is realised through disciplined attention to the physical sensations.

Vipassana Yoga in Rishikesh is intended to help you explore the nature of reality by a way of self-transformation through self-observation. During these 7 days students will learn to sharpen their awareness of what’s actually going on inside their body at the level of sensations. The entire practice is actually a mental training. Just as we use physical exercises to improve our bodily health, Vipassana can be used to develop a healthy mind.

Vipassana Yoga in Rishikesh program is a part of 500 hour Meditation TTC. The 7 Days Vipassana Yoga in Rishikesh is held from 23rd through 29th of every month. During this period Adhiroha campus will be on a silent zone. Vipassana students will be given a scheduled time to discuss their doubts/questions/problems with their designated Meditation Teacher every day during the 7 day period. Students may approach the management with any problems related to their stay, health etc. But even these contacts should be kept to a minimum.

  • Complete silence throughout the period. Any form of communication whether by gestures, sign language, written notes etc is prohibited.
  • No Mobile Phone —You deposit your mobile phone at the office
  • You’re not allowed to read or write — no journaling.
  • You can’t use intoxicants — Alcohol, Smoking and Drugs are strictly prohibited. This also applies to tranquillisers and all other sedatives. Those taking medicines on a doctor prescription, should notify the management.
  • You can’t lie — which is easy when you can’t talk.
  • You will not be allowed to step out of the premises during this period.
  • Deposited Mobile phones and gadgets will be returned to students
  • You can return to your usual daily schedule
  • You can communicate as-usual/as-before
  • You are free to step out of the premises
