Yogacharya Mandeep Bhatt

Mandeep hails from Amni a small village near Dev Prayag, Uttarakhand. Being born in a traditional Brahmin family the Vedic culture and rituals is ingrained into his life and comes very naturally to him. Hence, at the age of 14 he decided to move to Rishikesh and joined Parmarth Niketan Ashram as a Rishikumar adopting a Gurukul life style and pursued education in Vedic science, Yoga and Sanskrit under great gurus of Himalayas. Mandeep holds Masters in Sanskrit and Yogic Science. During his student years at Parmarth Niketan along with his yogic education he also pursued his other passions and interests leading him to learn Astrology, Music and sound healing. Mandeep is a considered as a high knowledgeable and respected yoga teachers in Rishikesh and has been teaching Philosophy and Mantras since the year 2009. With his deep knowledge in Yoga philosophy, Vedas and Upanishads he connects the age old scriptures drawing similes and anomalies to various aspects of daily life. His teachings helped many students to understand the nuances and subtle elements of philosophy in a very easy and pragmatic way.

Yogi Anant Raturi

Anant is a multifaceted professional with a deep and practical knowledge in Yoga Anatomy. Born and brought up in the Yoga capital, Rishikesh, during his formative years under the able guidance of his beloved father pursued B.Sc and Masters in Zoology. After the completion of his Masters he found his calling in teaching and to better equip himself in the field of eduction he forged through and completed Bachelors in Education. All through his academic years Anant was paralleling practising Yoga at school as well as home. Eventually under the guidance of his Guru, Anant started his teaching career and is now one of the best, knowledgable and the most sought after Yoga Anatomy teachers in Rishikesh. His teaching style is very hands on and keeps his students engaged all through the session helping them think on their feet and fall in love with Anatomy as a subject. Most often towards the end of each class you get to hear the students saying “Didn't realised how the time flew by”. Other than being an Anatomy teacher, Anant is also professionally trained in Hindustani Classical Music (vocal) and also plays Tanpura, Harmonium and Tabla. He has a very soulful and melodic voice and opens and closes his classes with beautiful mantra chanting that would transform one to a different world.

Yogi Mohit Kumar

Yogi Mohit Kumar started his Yoga Journey in the year 2009. He is certified by the Yoga Alliance, holds a Diploma in Yoga and currently pursuing a Masters in Yoga Science. In the year 2010, he conducted a workshop on Yoga which motivated him to move to Rishikesh for pursuing yoga professionally. Since the year 2016 under the guidance of his guru, Mohit has been providing customized Yoga Therapies to differently-abled people. He is particularly loved by his students for his sunny disposition and kind nature. He is experienced in the aspects of Hatha yoga, Pranayama, Meditation, and Shatkarma. He particularly enjoys helping students overcome their physical and mental barriers through Yoga. Mohit likes to integrate yoga & meditation with nature walks, treks, and sacred Ganga river visits. He aims to transmit the true essence of yoga to develop inner strength, physical health, mental balance, and spiritual benefit.

Yogacharya Pankaj Sharma

Pankaj Sharma was born and brought up in the foothills of Himalayas, Himachal Pradesh. After the completion of B.A in Sanskrit, he moved to Rishikesh and spent 8 years of his life in an ashram, learning yoga in the age-old Gurukul style leading a disciplined and yogic life. To Satiate his urge for knowledge Pankaj went on to pursue a Masters’s degree in Yoga simultaneously teaching in various ashrams and Yoga schools. Due to his early induction to ashram life, Pankaj at a very young age has carved a niche for himself in yoga with his teaching skills and knowledge in Vedas, Upanishads, and philosophy.

Yogacharya Suraj Negi

Suraj Negi hails from Jonk the Yoga Village of Rishikesh which is known for providing many proficient yoga teachers to the world. His fellow comrades influenced and inspired Suraj so much that he naturally gravitated towards yoga like duck takes to water. After completion of M.Sc in yogic science from Uttarakhand Sanskrit University, Haridwar he started studying and practicing yoga under some of the influential and well-known yoga teachers. During this process, observing his dedication and dexterity his Gurus allowed him to assist them with their classes. Since then Suraj has not looked back. He is one of the most sought after teachers in Rishikesh proficient in Hatha Yoga, Kundalini Yoga Asanas, adjustments & Alignment. Suraj’s teaching style is known for creating a safe, sensitive and intuitive space where each student can tap into subtle self awareness and expansion of health, happiness, peace and wholeness.

Yogacharya Ajay Pundir

Ajay Pundir’s Tryst with yoga began when he was 17 year old. After a serious road accident and a year of bed rest Ajay started doing yoga to recover and get physically fit again. And slowly over a period of time under the guidance of renowned gurus, his experience and interaction with yoga underwent a transformation. He understood that Yoga is the only form of practice in the world that takes care of the entire body, all its organs, and also the mind and the spirit. This formed the base for him to pursue M.A. in Yoga. With intense practice of Astanga yoga which he did for almost 8 hours a day made him proficient and sought after Astanga yoga teacher. Even to this day with his busy teaching schedule he still does self-practice for at least 4 hours day. Teaching yoga requires practice and experience. He always says “it’s best to understand and realise what form or style of practice one likes and then work towards that style rather than doing everything and mastering none”.

Yogacharya Jagjeet Singh

Jagjeet Singh fondly called Jaggi was born in Haridwar. He belongs to a family of avid yoga practitioners and learned yoga from an early age from his grandfather who was one of the renowned yogis of his time. He was brought up reading Bhagwat Gita and many other ancient Indian texts which always made him wonder about life. After completion of his Masters in Yoga science, he naturally gravitated onto the path of spirituality and having a very inquisitive nature he traveled to the Himalayas in search of a master who can quell his mind. During this search, he met many masters and gained extensive knowledge of yoga. Jaggi mastered in Hatha Yoga and extensively practiced yoga therapy, marma therapy, alternative therapy, yoga asana, pranayama, mudras, and bandha. After his return from Himalayas Jaggi had an immense desire to share the knowledge he gained with other people that eventually led him into the world of teaching. Today he is one of the most renowned Yogis of Rishikesh. He is an excellent Anatomy and Philosophy teacher and imparts knowledge gained from the ancient Indian texts & personal experiences. Jaggi’s engaging and compassionate teaching style radiates positive energy and warmth from the moment you step into his class.

Sant Prakash

Sri Sant Prakash hails from a remote village in Bihar. Literate in Sanskrit and an avid reader from an early age, Sant Prakash was drawn to Indian History and hence pursued B.A. Honours in History from L.N.M university Darbhanga Bihar. Post Bachelors degree, in the year 2006 he enrolled in Bihar school of yoga to pursue education in Yogic science. Thereafter for eight years Sant Prakash underwent yoga training under the guidance of the eminent guru Swami Niranjananda Saraswathi (at Bihar School of Yoga, Munger Bihar) and gained immense knowledge and insight in yoga and philosophy. From the year 2012 through 2014 Sant Prakash conducted public and private lectures disseminating tenets of Yoga and philosophy across various pilgrim places in India and Nepal. During this period he lived with people from different walks of life and religions which gave him an opportunity to learn, understand and practice different spiritual traditions. Equipped with this renewed knowledge he started incorporating philosophical techniques raising interfaith awareness. Sant Prakash continues to do his yog sadhana everyday, teaches philosophy, conducts satsangs at various ashrams and institutions in Rishikesh. He strives to share his experience and wisdom of yoga with others which would help uplift the human consciousness to the divine consciousness and spread the message of his divine Master Swami Satyananda Saraswathi Rishikesh.
